Most orders will be shipped by Fed-Ex Ground or Diaz Transport. Next Day Air and Second Day Air delivery are available but must be requested. For large orders or over-sized items, Diaz Manufacturing Company LLC will determine the most cost effective carrier who, based on our experience, can be expected to carry material safely to our customers in a reasonable amount of time.

Please note: if you are a COD customer and we need to ship LTL, it is more cost effective to prepay us for shipping rather than pay COD for freight due to added expenses by the carrier.



On occasion items may be damaged while in the shipping process. If this occurs we need to be notified immediately to rectify the situation! We understand that one damaged item can suspend progress on your end!

Please review the following procedures that should occur depending on the carrier which caused the damage since each carrier most likely has its own policies.


You the customer must notify the Motor Freight Carrier if items have shipping damage. Customer’s claim for damaged freight is with the delivering carrier, NOT Diaz Manufacturing LLC.


Any damage created by our own deliveries will be replaced at no charge. Please see our replacement policy on the next page.


If a Fed-Ex Ground shipment is received damaged, the customer must notify Diaz Mfg. immediately. Diaz Manufacturing Company LLC will arrange for Fed-Ex to pick up and return any damaged items. We will file a claim with Fed-Ex and issue credit to customer’s account.

All claims due to Fed-Ex shipping damage must be reported to Diaz Manufacturing Company LLC within 15 calendar days. The original packaging must be saved for Fed-Ex inspection or credit will not be issued.

Diaz Manufacturing Company LLC cannot be responsible for issuing credit for any packages with shipping damage unless the damage is reported to us within the 15-day period. Please inspect your packages immediately upon delivery.


Diaz Manufacturing Company LLC has a THREE-DAY replacement program for our Custom Doors and Drawer Fronts

Replacement orders for standard items received before noon will be ready for shipment by the end of the third business day after the day the order is placed. The customer must supply their original purchase order number and our delivery or shipping date. Please reorder these items using the original purchase order number followed by an “R”.

All errors made by Diaz Mfg. employees will be remade as NO CHARGE Replacements. Any errors made by the Customer will be invoiced accordingly.

Some specialty items and mullion doors require additional time for replacement. Please contact customer service if you have any questions.
